Individualised carotid artery treatment

This PVI 2025 session focuses on tailoring carotid interventions to each patient’s unique anatomy and clinical scenario.

The discussion spans optimal access strategies—the “Achilles heel” of carotid procedures—lesion preparation as a key to stenting success, and decision-making in near-occlusion or restenosis cases. The session also highlights advanced techniques for challenging situations, including TCAR in recently symptomatic patients with contralateral occlusion, symptomatic carotid dissections, and complications arising from radial access.

Discover practical strategies and key insights for safe, individualised carotid artery management!
